  2. Some people prefer:”Caput tuum ut Carmelus”
    but I ‘am’ a firm believer Palestrina’s sweet cycle of settings also accomodates a madrigalian word painting much more beautiful than Gombert’s.Or should I say ‘matricalis’?My mother tongue is English, however the Latin seems more fruitful here. Cheryl Exums should allow for a little more give and take.
